Tarot Legal Agreement, Code of Ethics, & Policies
When you purchase or watch a tarot reading, you agree that you (The Querent) have read and understand the details of this Agreement, Code of Ethics, and Policies below, releasing me (the tarot reader, Amanda Weedmark) of any and all liability/responsibility for any actions or inactions that are or are not taken after the reading is delivered.
You, The Querent
You are 18 years of age or older.
You understand tarot readings are for entertainment only. These readings should not be a replacement for medical or legal advice. If you are struggling with mental or physical health issues or deep emotional pain, please seek guidance from a licensed professional.
You are willing to be open and honest with yourself and me. For best results it’s imperative to show up with an open heart and mind with a willingness to share some detail about your situation and context. Without this information, it will be challenging to deliver messages that are specific and clear. Understand that this information will not sway the messages that the cards deliver.
You are taking responsibility for choices, actions, and decisions. Tarot readings are a tool should never be an excuse to vacate your own senses, reason, spiritual process, or decisions but an invitation to engage with them more fully. It is up to you to make choices in your own best interest, based on the circumstances you are dealing with, needs, limitations, and personal beliefs. You are responsible for your actions.
You are focused on self. Tarot should be used to understand yourself better and ultimately, empower you. It should not be used to manipulate or control others. If you are not at the center of the question, I will ask you to reword the question. If we cannot agree to the rewording, I will cancel the reading outright.
You understand results may vary. Some tarot readings may not resonate at first so take time to digest the information. Additionally, due to the fluid nature of life, your circumstances, and your own free will (and other people’s free will), tarot readings are not necessarily predictive of any future events. Outcomes that may be discussed in your reading(s) are possibilities only. They also may not be 100% accurate. Nothing is.
You are participating legally. If it's illegal to purchase readings, spiritual counselling, or decks in your particular state or country, the responsibility lies on you, and you should make sure that it's legal for you to purchase & participate.
I, The Reader
I aim to do no harm. My goal is to offer clarify, comfort, and spiritual guidance. I treat all of my clients with equal respect, regardless of their origin, race, religion, gender, age, or sexual identity. I also do not use phrases like “it was meant to be”, “there’s a reason for everything”, or “you attracted this” as I feel these phrases invalidate real world hardships and cause harm.
I am not a psychic, fortune-teller, and do not do any psychic or predictive readings. My readings are focused on psyche and spirituality.
I may reword questions. To put you at the center of every reading & for the best results, questions may be reworded and confirmed via email prior to the reading.
I am not a doctor, lawyer, financial consultant, or psychologist. My advice in any tarot reading does not and should not constitute, replace, & be construed as financial, legal, medical, psychiatric, psychological, or any other type of professional advice on any subject matter. Please consult a licensed professional if you are in need of a specific type of advice.
I will not breadcrumb you. What you pay for is what you will receive. I will not cut the video short and hold any advice or insights “hostage” for additional payment.
I honor your privacy & trust. Your tarot reading will never intentionally be shared with anyone but you for any reason and will be delivered without judgement.
I have the right to deny and cancel any tarot reading booking for any reason. Especially if:
you are becoming too reliant on my tarot readings for advice and decision making
you are asking the same question within a short span of time
you are asking me to predict outcomes or asking me to make decisions on your behalf
you do not agree to the rewording of a question
you ask about winning lottery numbers, investments of finances, diagnosing health, or dark magic / manipulation of energy
I am unwell or am unable to answer your question through tarot
I cannot meet the delivery deadline of your reading.
Cancellations & refunds are not available. If cancellations are necessary, due to circumstances beyond your control or mine, and if the reading has yet to be completed, I will happily offer you a credit for a future tarot reading.
I deliver readings within 5-7 business days. You will receive a link to your private tarot reading within 5-7 business days - unless otherwise notified. Please check your junk mail or “other” tabs within your email provider if you don’t see it by the third day after purchase. Additionally, please contact me right away if you are unable to access the link.
I may share third party links. At my own discretion, I may occasionally recommend links to external sites for tarot decks, other readers, or counselling websites, as I see fit. I may or may not be affiliated but will notify the querent. I am not responsible for the content or practices of third party sites. Please perform due diligence before buying products or services from anyone.
I do not participate in crowdfunding campaigns. To keep my practice professional and aligned to my own business goals, I will not endorse, advertise, or market crowdfunding campaigns.
